So this is my first post, and I'm really excited about starting this blog. The new year is just around the corner and that means new beginnings. That being said my goal this year is self improvement. Everyone has insecurities, but most of the time there is ONE that tops them all, for me it is my underarms. I've heard people say that their underarms are dark or discolored, but I have yet to find any that compare to mine. Although it is really embarrassing to post these pictures online I know that it will help someone feel that they are not alone. I was inspired to start this blog by this DIVA :]
Honestly this blog made me feel so much better. I knew that there were other people out there with the same problem as me and seeing her journey reassured me.So here we go...
So the above two pictures are of my left underarm. The skin is very dark, cracked.
The above two pictures are from my Right underarm. I couldn't really capture how bad they truly are, but I will add more pictures soon. I really hope that you guys don't think I'm a dirty person. I have tried so hard to get rid of this problem. No matter what I do it just wont go away. I have looked into this medical condition called acanthosis nigricans that is associated with diabetes and being overweight.
So I will be trying to lose weight to see if it helps, but also will be trying different whitening products and reviewing them for you guys. :]

ReplyDeleteI always thought that was from shaving, natural folds from arm bending and having dark hair lol. That's what I'd rather have be the cause!
ReplyDeleteI have the same problem! I tried exfoliating and it worked for a little while but it doesn't seem to do anything anymore. I asked my doctor and she prescribed me to use Hydrocortisone or Canesten cream but none have worked and I'm desperate!
ReplyDeletewhat i would use is waxing it takes out the hair roots aka the black things you see. it hurts at first but it helps greatly!:) ps im a girl on my dads computer that why it says ajaz latif lol
